Who we are
Parents Plus is a charity on a mission to strengthen family relationships and achieve the best possible outcomes for children, young people, and parents. We research and develop evidence-based parenting and mental health programmes in collaboration with families and services, and train practitioners to deliver and evaluate these programmes in their organisations and communities, building the capacity of community, mental health, disability, and education services in Ireland and the UK.
Parents Plus vision is that families in need have access to proven and tailored parenting tools, from the services they turn to, at their point of need, in their communities, improving their outcomes and preventing difficulties or crises arising.
To support delivery of our mission and vision, we are seeking applications from skilled and motivated individuals, who can serve as external non-board members on our HR and Remuneration Subcommittee. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your skills and knowledge to strengthen our charity.
