We are happy to share an opportunity that could significantly benefit your team and the communities you serve.

The Wheel, Ireland’s national association of charities, community groups and social enterprises, is now welcoming applications for the Training Links programme 2024-2026, offering financial support to enhance the training and development needs of nonprofit workers.

Why Consider This Opportunity?
This funding opportunity could help your organisation participate in the Parents Plus suite of Professional Training Programmes, designed to equip your staff with the skills they need to to improve outcomes for the families and children you work with.  Backed by over 27 years of research, our programmes have proven benefits for families, including those dealing with disadvantage, disability and mental health problems, as well as the normal ups and downs of family life. Previously community groups have accessed this funding support to train in and run the Parents Plus evidence-based programmes, providing a coordinated approach across their local services.
Your organisation will need to take responsibility for the application and Parents Plus can support with research, quotes and mapping out the project.

Who Can Apply?

Community and voluntary organisations based in the Republic of Ireland. Organisations willing to collaborate, forming a Training Network with at least 10 members. Open to new applicants, previously funded networks, and those previously unsuccessful.

1). Digital Transformation: training workers to support the use of digital technologies in organisations.

2). Enhancing leadership and management skills to increase organisational impact, including strong governance, well-formed strategy, and agile and effective management and planning.

If your service and services in your locality are interested in joining forces to provide a coordinated approach with our proven programmes for families, and want to apply for this fund, please contact Dr. Brosnan at eileen@parentsplus.ie and we will jointly support your proposal.
